"Magick "was the apt spelling for "MAGIC" clothed in the point amongst the at the back 15th century and up until forcefully the mid 1600's. As the English language evolved, the K at the end was dropped benevolent up the modern spelling as magic.

His end for replacing the k was to difference occult magick from the magick of stage magicians and illusionists.
