Happy 5 Year Anniversary
At the Zoo in some cave dwelling, thats where Hakka people originated from, the mountains and caves of China=)Today is wifey and my, 5 year anniversary, sounds kind of funny, let me just say it the way everyone does its Me and wifeys 5 year anniversary today. There that sounds better. Its been kind of long but short, so much has transpired and changed during that time. We have grown alot in our own independant ways and spiritually and pychologically we have developed and changed. Im so thankful for family and friends and most of all for Christ Jesus in our life, without God binding our relationship together we most likely would not be together still and in this world where we are programmed to think its all about ourself and there are always alternatives. It beats down on relationships and marriages today and its so sad. So were so thankful for our church and just our walk of faith til this point. There were times when we wanted to giveup and walk away from everything that we had built and instead of growing, walls were being torn down. Im happy that today we have learnt from the past and we have actively been building up eachother and our family. I love you honey, I cherish you and I honor you! Believe me its easy to say and intend it but its harder to do and often remember it. This weekend we have a last minute planned marriage event were goign to which happens to be at church so were really excited about that. We have been really busy with the kids, pregnancy and work so this date would be really nice and memorable. Well Some photos below of me and the family, so soon it will be Jeff and Gee Plus Three and we will need to take an updated family portrait. So with a final prayer,God protect and bless each and everyone of our children, help us to grow and prosper in our marriage and every aspect of our life. We pray that your Angels always have charge over each and everyone of us, that we may live in victory everyday of our lives right up until the day we die and enter your kingdom!

Margaret Fell And George Fox

Margaret Fell And George Fox
Pendle Hill will forever be associated to the Pendle Witches who live on in the undying soul of the landscape and its folklore. Pendle Hill also gave birth to the Quaker movement.

In 1652, George Fox, a weaver's son and cobbler's apprentice turned dissenting preacher, wandered across England on a spiritual quest. When he climbed Pendle Hill, his revelation came to him-an event that would change both Fox and the world forever. He envisioned a "great multitude waiting to be gathered."

As we travelled, we came near a very great hill, called Pendle Hill, and I was moved of the Lord to go up to the top of it; which I did with difficulty, it was so very steep and high. When I was come to the top, I saw the sea bordering upon Lancashire. From the top of this hill the Lord let me see in what places he had a great people to be gathered.

"George Fox: An Autobiography, Chapter 6"

Later when he walked on to Firbank Fell and met with the Westmoreland Seekers, he found his "great multitude" and the movement had its genesis.

Wandering still further, Fox came to Swarthmoor Hall in Cumbria where he hoped to discuss his new religion with the lord of the manor, Thomas Fell. Mr. Fell being absent, Fox met Margaret, the mistress of the house, a woman who had been searching for spiritual direction for the past twenty years.

From the first time Margaret Fell heard Fox preach, his vision became her own. In the following three weeks, Margaret, her children, servants, estate workers, and many inhabitants of Furness became a part of burgeoning Quaker movement. When the lord of the manor finally returned, he found himself in a Quaker stronghold.

A skilled mediator, Margaret managed to reconcile her husband to the lowborn preacher who had taken such outrageous liberties. Though Thomas Fell never converted, he allowed Margaret to use Swarthmoor Hall as a meeting house for worship. Through the 1650s, Swarthmoor Hall became the powerhouse of the early Quakers. Thomas Fell died in 1658, leaving the estate to Margaret.

Regarded by many as the co-founder of the Society of Friends, Margaret devoted her life to her religion. One of the few early Quakers who was a member of the gentry, she interceded on behalf of her co-religionists who were arrested for illegal preaching or refusing to take oaths. In 1660 and 1662 she traveled to London to convince King Charles II and his parliament for freedom of conscience. In 1664, Margaret herself was arrested for failing to take an oath and for allowing Quaker meetings to be held in her home. She was sentenced for life imprisonment in Lancaster Gaol and forfeiture of her property. While in prison she wrote religious pamphlets and epistles, including her most famous work, Women's Speaking Justified, a scripture-based argument for women's ministry. From its very inception, the Quaker religion insisted on gender equality, women's right to preach, the abolition of slavery and the fundamental injustice of war. One can imagine that Margaret played a leading role in the Quaker commitment to equality and social progress.

In 1668 Margaret was released from prison by order of the king. The following year she married George Fox. Returning to Lancashire, she was arrested again, and shortly after her release, Fox departed on his mission to America, only to be imprisoned upon his return to England.

Surviving both her husbands, Margaret remained a religious activist into her eighties and finally died in 1702 at the age of 88. Her last words were, "I am in Peace."

Iran Calls For Muslims To Unite For Maitreya Arrival

BEWARE OF THE DECEIVER "MAITREYA"

Spokesman says Iran's supreme leader represents Mahdi

Muslims must unite for Islam's savior: Iran

Ali Saeedi called on Muslim countries to prepare for the coming of the redeemer

DUBAI (Saud al-Zahed)

The spokesman of Iran's Supreme Leader called on neighboring countries to mobilize their forces in preparation for the coming of the savior of Islam and to unite with the Islamic Republic in paving the way for his arrival, an Iranian news agency reported Sunday.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's spokesman, Ali Saeedi, said countries like Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan and Afghanistan should gather together all their forces in order to make drastic changes to prepare for the coming of al-Mahdi al-Montazar, Arabic for "the awaited guided one."

" Since the armed forces are commanded by the Supreme Leader, they are thus obeying the orders of the Awaited Mahdi "

Ali Saeedi, Iran rep.

"We still have a long way to go in order to achieve this. We have to train honest forces that can stop the obstacles that may hinder the coming of the Mahdi like the United States and Israel," Saeedi said in statement posted by the Iranian Labor News Agency (ILNA).

Saeedi also said that the supreme leader of Iran is the direct representative of the Mahdi and that obeying him is like obeying the "guided one," who is the prophesized savior of Islam.

Ali Saeedi

"Since the armed forces are commanded by the Supreme Leader, they are thus obeying the orders of the awaited Mahdi," Saeedi said, adding "the Revolutionary Guards and the armed forces in Iran hold religious authority to prepare for the appearance of the Mahdi."

The Mahdi is believed by Muslims to be arriving before Judgment Day to rid the world of injustice. Although present in both major Islamic schools of thought, the Mahdi is more prominent in the Shiite doctrine than the Sunni one

Bank Holiday Possible from August 26th Through October 2009 Will Be No Picnic But an Illuminati Feast of Flesh and Marrow

August 18, 2009

Hawk

In this age of a quadrillion in derivatives, so called insurance policies, but better likened to a Las Vegas poker game, the American Dream is built of nothing much it seems but a house of cards and endless Debt buttressed by phony economic statistics, cooked books, and continued loss of jobs, homes, businesses, net worth, and liberty. Plunge Protection Team pump jobs on the stocks, Dollar collapse fears, manipulated hold downs on the Precious Metals Futures, and TARP-TALF-FED extraordinary thievery of close to 24.7 Trillion without transparency going to Foreign Banks owned by Illuminati luciferian GLOBALISTS who are the Receivers of the Bankruptcy of 1933 of the corporate entity UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and probably the current one of 2008 which has not been officially declared.

Although no definite evidence of the exact date for a Bank Holiday or shutdown, where perhaps a new devalued currency would be put into place in the U.S. exists, there has been plenty of warning from some stellar Financial Newsletters like Harry Schultz' and Bob Chapman's International Forecaster that there is high likelihood that one might occur somewhere between 8/26/09 and the end of October 2009. The warning from Mr. Schultz indicates to watch for the FDIC 2nd Quarter Report to come out 8/25 and that because of the implications of the real condition of the Banks to be ready for possible closure of the Banks from 8/26 onward. These warnings in and of themselves by these two top prognosticators of financial and economic trends are dire, but they also have been followed by a great deal of ancillary information and evidence that has come to the Q-files from a myriad of Banking, Bank IT personnel, Intel sources, and even a Tennessee State website for their Financial Institutions Department. Thus, with a preponderance of corroboration of these sources of information, the weight must err on the side of sounding a Watchman's Warning to the people to prepare for such an event.

DRAFTS OF LETTERS LEAKED -EXECUTIVE ORDERS?

Last week 2 letters in draft format allegedly from a large Midwestern Bank with branches in several states were made available to the Q-files by an alleged Executive level employee of that Bank. Their contents, which were to be offered for correction and suggestions to be returned no later than 8/21/09, contained the statement that they had been prepared at the behest of the Federal Reserve and that an Executive Order (though # not stated) was specifically going to be cited in the finished product that would go to all Bank account holders and employees sometime after that 8/21/09 though no exact date was listed. The content of these two letters was :

1. All account access was to be limited by the Bank and that any withdrawls, checks, debit cards, or access of credit lines, and IRA's could total no more than 500.00 per one or a combination of accounts every 7 business days until these limitations were lifted by Federal Authorities.

2. All lock boxes were to be sealed and access to contents disallowed by regulations imposed by Executive Order, the IRS, FDIC, and the Federal Reserve Bank until further notice.

These type restrictions have been seen before during Bank Holidays of the 1930's where contents of lock boxes (particularly gold and cash) were in fact confiscated and also in more recent IMF/WORLD BANK imposed scenarios in South American countries such as Argentina and Brazil in the early 2000's, 90's, and 80's.

The implications for the American people here are ominous once again. When one looks at a potential limit on withdrawls of only 2000 per 28 business days.......and then calculates that many households budgets are much greater than that especially if the Mortgage Payment is included, it is no wonder that Northcom Troops, Foreign Troops, and Mercenaries are being quartered inside the U.S. and are practicing for Martial Law to quell massive civil uprisings.

Additional ancillary information received includes numerous reports from Bank or Financial Institution computer system personnel describing actual planned system shutdowns or work from home drills starting as early as 8/22/09 and with many citing dates in mid September 2009. One large West Coast Bank reportedly had informed a customer that a "major systems upgrade" would restrict all access to their accounts from 9/11/09 for a period of approximately 2 full days.

A European banking contact of an alleged CIA agent posted in Europe has informed a Q-files friend of the possibility of some sort of rolling regional Bank Holiday shutdowns in the U.S. to begin as early as late August 2009 through the month of September 2009.

The State of Tennessee Financial Institutions authorities have posted an August 9, 2009 memo on their website which describes their policies of Bank Closures and regulations with specific regard to the DHS declared MEDICAL STATE OF EMERGENCY and the Flu Pandemic.......it also hints at other possible STATES OF EMERGENCY that are contained in Executive Orders and Presidential Decision Directives (PDD'S) which could necessitate closure of Banks in that State. This brings up an excellent point of the high probability of the Flu Pandemic coinciding with or following or perhaps precipitating these Bank Holidays or Closures.

Currently, the WHO has declared a Level 6 Pandemic condition and already the U.S. is preparing for massive vaccinations of the populace and under the Medical Emergency Powers Act can in fact use Troops or Police to force vaccinations or send anyone refusing to a Quarantine Camp or Facility for an indefinite time period. Refusal of vaccine is being described as a crime now and already reports of Dr.s, Nurses, and other hospital and dental workers being fired or threatened with firing for refusal of the H1N1 or combination of Flu vaccines being given already around the country are coming into the Q-Files. Once again Northcom Troops are on record as going to be used in these mass vaccination programs and any resulting refusals will be handled by them and State, County, and Local Law Enforcement Officers operating under the new Interoperability Federal Command. The State of Massachusetts is currently in the process of Deputizing all Dr.s, Nurses, Dentists, and other Hospital an Clinic personnel for the purposes of these Mass vaccination programs.

So, in the climate where perhaps according to the State of Tennessee that 50% or more of Bank employees might be infected with what is expected by many Virologists to be a much more severe and even killer Flu where deaths % are likely to zoom to much higher rates than normal one can easily see that if the U.S. and world financial systems hadn't already necessitated a Bank Holiday due to collapse of the Dollar or insolvency problems, then this already declared Flu Pandemic will likely cause it all by itself.

The illuminati banksters might even declare that in order to stop the Killer Flu Pandemic that all paper currency and coinage must be surrendered so that it will not be a vector for spreading the virus and that immediately an Electronic Money System will be instituted to form the Cashless Society. Of course, a National ID/Proof of Shots Record card or permanent wrist band would be the basis of this system or if they are feeling really bold the actual use of RFID chips could be mandated by the Military and Medical Governors in conjunction with the Federal Reserve and the UN to be needed by anyone in the U.S. to transact any business, access Bank accounts, obtain medicine or food, or actually to be........THE MARK WHICH WILL BE REQUIRED TO BUY AND SELL. (Note: the Medical Shot Record Card sample has been held actually in the hand of a deep background source and the Metal Wrist Band device has been confirmed as in existence by another source Greg Evenson who has written about it in an alert of his own.)

The Illuminati luciferian Global Masters by their own writings and speeches that have been cited in previous Hawk TALONS are planning to reduce the population of this planet down to 500 million......in order to gain the control of populaces to due this, I submit that a combination of Bank Holiday/Currency Devaluation and Deadly Killer Flu Pandemic with all the ramifications and the activation of the already declared Emergencies, Martial Law in America would potentially give them just those control mechanisms here. However it will also provoke the 2nd Revolution in these united States and a resulting civil war could be expected as soon as this fall 2009 or by 2010 for certain.

At this point we recommend that all prudent Americans take this warning to prayer and then if lead by the Lord, to take the necessary steps to protect your family, yourself, your home, and your wealth against evil plans of luciferian Illuminati Globalists and their puppet Politicians and their storm trooper minions.

Clearly purchasing Gold, Silver, Platinum, food, ammunition, and other commodities which will hold value in a state where ORDO AB CHAO reigns and the fabric of life, the American Dream, has been destroyed by evil, greedy, and blood thirsty power brokers would be indicated. What you do with your money is your business but having traditional items that have always been REAL MONEY (note: read the definition of a Dollar in the Constitution as being a certain amount of Silver) and plenty of food to eat and ammo for target practice would never be wasted money, now would it?

OH, IF WE ALL WOULD REPENT AND SEEK LORD JESUS CHRIST THIS COULD CHANGE NOW AND BE PRECLUDED.........LIKE HOW NINEVEH WAS SPARED.

THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Stone Age Wisdom The Healing Principles Of Shamanism

BOOK: STONE AGE WISDOM THE HEALING PRINCIPLES OF SHAMANISM BY TOM CROCKETT

Stone Age Wisdom: The Healing Principles of Shamanism is a guide to an urban contemporary shamanism that draws on the what religious historian, Houston Smith, describes as "the ground from which all religions spring." While the word shamanism has come to mean many things to many people, a shaman is an individual who uses an enhanced capacity to attend to the unseen world primarily in service to others. The first step to being able to artfully serve others is to return to balance. What does it mean to live in balance? Most people know what it feels like to live out of balance. The fast pace of modern life has left many of us without roots or a sense of connection to life around us. Shamanism is the Spiritual Practice that evolved from the worldview of our Stone Age ancestors. That worldview recognized that all things were alive, conscious, dynamic, interconnected, and responsive. By animating these core principles in our lives we can find that balance and sense of connection that is so lacking in our urban contemporary world. From each of these core principles has evolved a set of practices that allow the shaman to work effectively with the energetic patterns that form the template upon which reality as we know it arises. Stone Age Wisdom is a guide to these practices as refined for an urban contemporary practitioner. By following the healing principles of shamanism you'll learn practices to: DREAM-to be open to and understand the wisdom of your dreams VISION-SHIFT-to develop the ability to sense the energetic patterns in your life JOURNEY-to enter into dialogue with the energies that shape our lives SHAPE-SHIFT-to practice the art of conscious change and energetic healing CONDUCT CEREMONY-to mediate between the seen and the unseen worlds DREAM-WEAVE-to direct will and intention through embodied prayer and creative action. This book has deepened my own shamanic practice in ways that other teachers and books have not. Along with Tom Cowan's books and Frank MacEowen's, this volume now has a place of honor on my shelves and in my heart. If you are a serious student of shamanism, this book is well worth purchasing. Even if you are not a practitioner, it's one of the finer books I've come across which plainly explains what shamanism is and is not, why it is important to learn and continue the practice, and how it fits into a modern urban society. If you are merely curious about shamanism or are a seasoned journeyer, this book is a wonderful resource.

The Imprisonment Of The Pagan Republican Sodomites The Heathen Minded Humanists Part Three
I have so far written four posts in this blog about the 1468 (Anno Deceptoris) conflict between Pope Paul II and the Roman Academy. Here is a brief overview of the ground covered so far:

Part One provided some background on the two opposing sides: the "Heathen-Minded Humanists" of the Academy, who "despised the Christian religion and passionately inveighed against its adherents," versus the Pope and other representatives of "the genuine and noble Renaissance, which had grown up on Christian principles, and, while embracing classical studies with enthusiasm, had made them subordinate and subservient to Christian aims and ideas." The words in quotes are all from Ludwig von Pastor's "History of the Popes" (which ran to 16 volumes published between 1886 and 1930).

Part Two went into more detail about the unfolding of the "Crisis of 1468", as it is often called. The executive summary is that the Pope had the Heathens arrested on the trumped up charge of plotting to assassinate His Holiness (with the end goals of both the rebirth of the Roman Republic and the revival of Roman Paganism). I then jumped to Part Four, because I wished, at least for a while, to pass over the unhappy tale of our heroes' incarceration, and instead to move directly to the far more pleasant subject of the discoveries made by Giovanni Battista de Rossi (starting in 1852) of inscriptions that were found deep in the catacombs of the city of Rome. These were made by the Sodomite Republican Pagans in question after their release and exoneration, and they serve to demonstrate that the Heathenism of the Academicians went far beyond either delusional paranoia on the part of their accusers, or mere antiquarian affectation on the part of the accused. And Part Five told the story of the other Roman Academy and its illustrious ringleader, Cardinal Bessarion, in order to help provide a somewhat broader context concerning the "Heathen-Minded" Academies, plural, in Renaissance Italy.

It still remains to tell the middle part of the story, Part Three, for I can no longer put off dealing with the ill-treatment of the imprisoned Pagans. To that end I now turn to a modern, 21st century, source: Anthony F. D'Elia's 2009 A Sudden Terror: The Plot to Murder the Pope in Renaissance Rome. First, though, I think we should refresh our memories about the material already covered so far, or at least revisit those events from the perspective of Anthony F. D'Elia, who provides the following very lively account of how it all went down in 1468 in the following three excerpts:

excerpt 1. [from pages 1-2 of D'Elia 2009]

The year was 1468. On Fat Tuesday, the last and most extravagant night of carnival in Rome, Pope Paul II sat attentively watching the races from his throne high above the boisterous crowd, when suddenly a scuffle broke out. The papal guards had stopped someone who was loudly insisting on speaking with the pope urgently about a matter of life and death. The man, his beard and dark eyes barely discernible under his hood, was dressed like a philosopher. Seeing that had captured the pope's attention, the "philosopher" broke free of the guards and intoned: "Holy Father! You are in great danger!" The pope sat up, leaned forward, and beckoned the stranger to approach and explain. What he heard made him tremble and turn pale

The cloaked informant asserted that an organized gang of miscreants was circulating in the crowd, not with the intent of cutting the purses of hapless revelers, but with a far more sinister aim: to murder the pope. An army of four hundred to five hundred criminals, he said, lay hidden in the ancient Roman ruins next to the pope's family palace. There, they awaited the signal to rise up, overwhelm the papal guard, and kill the pontiff. The conspirators planned to overthrow papal rule and destroy the power of the priests. After issuing his warning, the stranger gave no further details that we know of, but slipped away. A sudden terror came over the pope. As he looked down at the crowds of drunken revelers, he saw assassins everywhere. The masks and grotesque faces now seemed malignant and menacing. Paul was convinced that his life was in danger.

excerpt 2. [fr0m pages 3-6 of D'Elia 2009]

Carnival ushered in a week of merriment and unbridled pleasure, the last gasp for gluttony and excess before the forty lean days of Lent, when everyone [by law] had to fast in preparation for Easter. Before Paul ascended the papal throne, carnival in Rome had consisted of little more than some bull fighting and subdued revelry on the outskirts of the city. This pope changed all that. He turned the Roman carnival into a real party. He hosted sumptuous banquets for civic magistrates and citizens, at which delicate fish, choice meat, and many kinds of wine were served. After each feast he showered coins on the crowds outside his window, to demonstrate his benevolence toward the Roman people. Like other Renaissance cities, Rome used primarily the florin as currency, for the Medici bank in Florence had a virtual monopoly over European finance in the fifteenth century. Each year from 1468 through 1470 Paul spent between 329 and 376 florins on carnival banquets and other acts of liberality.

To give some notion of the scale of the outlay, some comparisons will be helpful. In 1449 a slave wet nurse could be hired for seventeen florins a year. The Venetian artist Titian paid assistants in his work- shop four florins a month in 1514. An apprentice banker lived on twenty florins a year, and a school teacher in early sixteenth-century Rome made twenty-five to thirty florins a year. Paul's expenditure of hundreds of florins on carnival celebrations was, therefore, extrava- gant. The purpose of such elaborate festivities was to win over the Roman people, as Paul made clear in two medals he issued for carnival. On one medal was inscribed, "A public banquet for the Roman peo- ple," and on the other, "Public joy." He did his utmost to make himself beloved by the Roman citizens and members of the papal government.

Paul II encouraged everyone to participate in the carnival celebrations. Gem-studded swords at their sides, cardinals in full military regalia rode on horseback through the streets, accompanied by an elaborate retinue. The cardinals' palaces were converted into casinos. The nephew of the future Pope Innocent VIII lost fourteen thousand florins to Cardinal Riario at one sitting. Such a fortune could have bought eight palaces in Florence at the time. The Roman diarist Stefano Infessura was aghast at the cardinals' behavior: "This year at carnival all the cardinals rode on sumptuous triumphal floats, accom- panied by trumpeters on horseback, and sent masked revelers through the city to the homes of other cardinals, accompanied by boys who sang and recited lascivious and pleasing verses and by clowns, actors, and others, dressed not in wool or linen, but in silk and gold and silver brocade. A great deal of money has been spent, and the mercy of God has been converted into luxury and the work of the Devil. There is no one who is not shocked by this." Extravagance, especially during carnival, was a hallmark of Paul's papacy.

A major feature of the entertainment he offered to the citizens consisted of the public humiliation of those living on the margins of Roman society. For the carnival celebrations of 1468 the pope sponsored eight races. First the Jews ran, then the prostitutes, the elderly, children, hunchbacks, dwarves, and finally donkeys and oxen. They had all been forced to take part in the contest; the jeers of the crowd, the lashing and cudgeling, the pelting with rocks, drove the runners through the awful gauntlet, down the slippery, torchlit cobblestone streets. Many of these wretches stumbled and fell to the ground, bruised and filthy. The sight elicited such mirth "that people could not stay on their feet but collapsed, breathless and exhausted." Pope Paul II, having taken pains to move carnival to the center of Rome and greatly ex- pand the races, enjoyed watching the suffering and humiliation of these helpless contestants. It was his idea to force the Jews of Rome, among others, to run, and he personally gave a gold coin to the winner of each race. Before Paul's pontificate, Jews had been forbidden to participate in the celebrations, but they were nevertheless compelled to pay a special tax to fund the festivities. Paul is often rightly seen as anti-Semitic. He did, however, lower the tax exacted from 1,230 florins to 555. By forcing the Jews to run in the races, Paul also provided the Roman people with an outlet for their aggression, by promoting a safe enemy, a scapegoat against which the Christian majority could bond together. Later in the sixteenth century, after the Jews had been isolated in ghettos, carnival became an especially dangerous time for Jews, almost as bad as Easter, when, in order to protect them from Christian rage, the authorities forbade them to leave the ghetto. Many Romans, some powerful, some powerless, had a motive to kill this eccentric and arrogant man.

excerpt 3. [from pages 9-11 of D'Elia 2009]

Pomponio Leto, Bartolomeo Platina, and Filippo Buonaccorsi (Callimachus) were singled out as the leaders of the conspiracy. They were the best of friends. With their classical knowledge and dedication to learning, they had much in common. In his popular cookbook Platina represents them joking merrily with each other, leaning over a bubbling pot of soup to be served at a dinner party. It was their friendship, perhaps, that attracted them to the teachings of the philosopher Epicurus, for whom the absence of pain was, along with a community of friends, the highest pleasure. But for the humanists the joys of social life included the sexual. Callimachus, a Tuscan who, like other humanists, had come to Rome to serve as secretary to a cardinal, wrote love poetry to younger members of the academy. He praised their beardless youthful beauty and described the pleasures of their embrace. Pomponio, the beloved mentor and head of the academy was similarly inclined. At the time of the conspiracy, he was under arrest in Venice on a charge of sodomy stemming from the love poetry he had written about two youths, students in his care. Back in Rome it was alleged that "unnatural" vice had driven the humanists to murder the pope.

Pomponio was a professor of rhetoric at the University of Rome who was known for his pagan beliefs and devotion to the genius of ancient Rome. At a time when everyone in Europe, apart from the oppressed minority of Jews and Muslims, was a Roman Catholic, the assertion that the humanists were pagans had serious repercussions [note that D'Elia has already previously mentioned the fact that "Among their many scandalous behaviors they performed secret pagan rites and mock religious ceremonies at which Pomponio was called Pontifex Maximus..." p. 7]. Pomponio tried to defend himself, but without success, especially after it came out that he had not fasted -- indeed, had even eaten meat -- during the forty days of Lent. Platina, who would later write a damning life of Pope Paul II, worked for Cardinal Gonzaga and had extensive contact with church government. He had started life as a mercenary and had served in two armies for four years before finding his true passion in classical literature. His love of Plato's philosophy was cited as clear evidence of pagan leanings.

The humanists had been suspected of harboring ill will toward the pope for some time before the mysterious philosopher's revelation on Fat Tuesday. Platina had already been imprisoned once three years earlier for challenging the pope's autocratic rule and for threatening to call a church council to depose him. Callimachus, who was overly fond of drink, often attacked the clergy in his drunken diatribes, and he had recently handed out fliers predicting the imminent death of the pope. An anonymous astrologer had similarly foretold that the pope would become ill and die within days. By some bizarre coincidence, Paul II was in fact seized shortly thereafter by a violent chill. Like most people of his time, Pope Paul took astrology very seriously.

The appearance of Halley's Comet in 1456 prompted all manner of astrological predictions and calls for prayer to ward off the ill fortune that the flaming ball of fire might portend. With their expert knowledge of the stars and admittedly outlandish ideas about the movement of planets, astrologers were the necessary forerunners of modern astronomers. Most universities, in fact, had chairs of astrology until quite recently. The Church never regarded astrology and magic as nonsense, as modern skeptics do. These were deceptive sciences, effectual but demonic, for they tried to manipulate Nature for personal gain to reveal its secrets. Astrologers claimed to divulge knowledge that only God possessed; their belief that stars determined character threw into question the Christian doctrine of free will. The Magisterium of Mother Church alone could pronounce on the proper use of magic and had a monopoly on all things spiritual. Portents, horoscopes, witchcraft, and magical spells were taken very seriously in this world, where the reasons for even the simplest changes in weather were unfathomable.

But just how did these men of letters intend to carry out their grandiose plan to return Italy to its glorious Pagan Republican Sodomite past? Surely they must have powerful allies - but who? Among those who were mentioned as possible supporters of the Conspiracy were the King of Naples, the King of France and the Ottoman Turks. But was there any evidence to connect the accused to such illustrious confederates? In the end, nothing could be produced to substantiate anything of the sort (and moreover, the Christian princes named as unindicted co-conspirators loudly protested their innocence). Many other questions about the supposed plot, from the details of its planned execution to its ultimate motives and goals, were similarly without clear answers.

Of course, the Holy Father had lost no time seeing to it that the conspirators were thoroughly and frequently tortured, and this naturally yielded results. But the stories that were extracted under torture were inconsistent with each other, as is so often the case, due to their being obvious fabrications produced only to satisfy the torturers.

Having arrested and savagely tortured many of the most distinguished, and well connected, intellectuals of Western Christendom, Paul II now found it difficult to justify his actions. No one dared, at least openly, to directly contradict the Pope. But even the most discrete and diplomatic inquiries about the affair proved to be an embarrassment. Now let us return to Dr. Ludwig von Pastor's narrative (here's a link to the full text at OpenLibrary.Org):

It was not easy for the Ambassadors of the [Italian] League, who were then in Rome, to obtain really authentic information regarding the events which had just taken place there, for the most varied and fantastic accounts were circulated. Many different statements were made as to the day fixed upon for carrying the plot into effect. Some said that Paul II was to have been murdered on Ash-Wednesday, at the Papal Mass, others that the crime was to have been perpetrated on Carnival Sunday, when all the people, and even the Papal Guards, would have gone to Monte Testaccio for the accustomed festivities. Others again declared Palm Sunday to be the day selected. It was further reported that the conspirators had, with a view to the accomplishment of their purpose, associated with themselves Luca de Tocio, who was a member of the Council at the Court of Ferrante I at Naples. This man was believed to be in league with other banished persons. Four or five hundred of them were to enter the city secretly, and to hide themselves in the ruins of the houses which had been pulled down in order to enlarge the Papal Palace. On the other side, forty or fifty partisans were to join the conspirators, and begin an attack on the attendants of the Cardinals and Prelates, who would be waiting in the Square in front of the Palace. By this means the Pope's small Guard would be occupied, and the conflict was to serve as a signal to the hidden outlaws, who would then make their way into the Church and murder the Pope and those about him. General pillage was to ensue, and Luca de Tocio was to establish a new Constitution. Even more alarming than the plot itself was the reported extent of its ramifications. The King of Naples was accused of taking part in it, and some were of the opinion that the King of France was also engaged, while others declared that Sigismondo Malatesta to be one of the conspirators. These varied accounts led the Ambassadors of the League to seek from the Pope himself more accurate information, and, at the same time, to express their sympathy and offer assistance on behalf of their several masters. An account of the Audience was drawn up by the Milanese Ambassadors personally, and in duplicate.

[pp. 49-50]

Pastor then gives us his own summary of the Milanese Ambassadors' notes, and the first several paragraphs of that summation (on pages 50-51) were already excerpted in Part Two of this series of posts. This goes on for several pages, and the interested reader is strongly encouraged to go to the full text, linked to above, and read the gory details for yourself. The executive summary is that while there was little room for doubt concerning the Academicians' hatred of Christianity and Papal authority in particular, or their love of all things Pagan and Roman Republicanism in particular, or their unbridled libertinage and their penchant for homoeroticism in particular, still there was no solid evidence to support the main charge of treasonous conspiracy.

In the end, the Duke of Milan's Ambassador, Johannes Blanchus, concluded that, "Regarding the Conspiracy against the Pope's person, enquiries have been most carefully made, but as yet nothing has been discovered but some blustering talk." [Pastor, p. 58]

In the next installment (I have managed to split Part Three into two sub-parts!) we will return to D'Elia's narrative, which could prove quite interesting due to the fact that D'Elia is of the opinion that in addition to be Pagans, Republicans, and Sodomites, the Heathen-Minded Humanists really did conspire to murder the Pope!

Stay tuned!

What Is Orthodoxy

What Is Orthodoxy
Thanks to Maxim.

On the first Sunday of Great Lent we celebrate the Triumph of Orthodoxy, a feast that was established in the year 842 to mark the final defeat of the Iconoclast heresy. In issuing a decree to celebrate the Sunday of Orthodoxy, the Synod of Constantinople wished to specifically commit the restoration of holy icons and the triumph of Orthodox Christology to the memory of the Church. During the eleven centuries that have followed since that day, the feast has come to be celebrated as the triumph of Orthodoxy over all heresies that have troubled the Church. Within the solemn proclamation of the Anathema which is heard on this day in every Orthodox cathedral, the Church in its fullness confirms the faith of the Fathers and rejects all heresies of the past and present. But the meaning of this feast is not in the rejection of false teaching from our midst, but in the true triumph of Orthodoxy in our hearts.

What is Orthodoxy? All too often we are more familiar with the heresies of old-Iconoclasm, Arianism, Monophisitism-or of the modern day-Ecumenism, Modernism, Sergianism-than we are with our own faith. We can eloquently argue the fallacies of Roman Catholicism or Protestantism, but can we tell what makes us Orthodox? What is Orthodoxy, and how can we strive for its triumph in our lives?

As we begin our search for the meaning of Orthodoxy, we must first look at the definitions given by the Fathers in the profession of faith or the Creed. From its very beginning, the Christian faith had to be defined, set apart, called out, and elected. Several redactions of the Creed-from that of the Apostles to the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed-stand witness to this laborious task of defining Orthodoxy. The word "Orthodox" is not in the Creed; the Fathers of the Nicene Council (A.D. 325) called it simply "the Symbol of Faith" ( ). But it is this profession of faith that continues to serve as the foundation of our belief today, and that is why we rightfully call it "the Symbol of the Orthodox Faith."

The Holy Church uses the Creed to instruct us in our faith throughout our entire earthly life. We recite the Creed before we are baptized into the Church, we hear it during services, we solemnly proclaim it together during every Divine Liturgy, we recite it every day as part of our daily prayer rule, and when partaking of our last Communion on the bed of illness and infirmity, we once again proclaim the Symbol of Orthodox Faith. This profession of faith which we make ours is an unbroken link that ties us to the faith of the Apostles and the martyrs, the Fathers and the holy hierarchs-it is the profession of every Orthodox saint for over two millennia. Those who so often "speed-chant" right over the Creed, and especially those who do not know the Creed, should remember that this profession of faith is made by the whole choir of the saints of the Church, and we should try to join in this choir-"with one mouth and one heart."Is knowing the basic truths contained in the profession of our faith enough to be Orthodox? The holy apostle James says:

"You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!" (James 2:19) Knowing the truth is not the same as making it your own. Each one of the ancient and modern heretics knew the Creed very well, and most of them did not even try to change it, take anything away or add anything to it. Instead, they corrupted the understanding of the faith, and spread their corrupt teachings among people. This is why it is so important to be familiar with the works of the Fathers of the Church.

Through a life of prayer, fasting and study of the Scripture, the Fathers acquired the mind of Christ, and the Holy Spirit guided their understanding of divine truths. To them, the words of the Symbol of Faith were not abstract concepts, but the very foundations of their lives.

We no longer read the works of Saint John Chrysostom or other Fathers in most parish churches. Even our divine services, full of the wisdom and the spirit of patristic theology, have become abbreviated and less attended. As piety among us declines, we are not willing to sacrifice much time from our busy lives to be in church and to hear the beautiful and profoundly meaningful words of the services. Yet, in spite of this, the services do not become less beautiful and meaningful, nor do they become less important for us. Even though our piety is declining, our literacy is not. Most of us can read, and the texts which were once hand-copied and kept in monastery libraries are now widely available both in print and in electronic format. In order to acquire the Orthodox mindset and the worldview of the Fathers, we must become familiar with their thought and with their heritage. Both the theological and the liturgical heritage of the Fathers are indispensible to our formation as Orthodox Christians.

Some may complain that the language of the services is archaic and that the writings of the Fathers are too complicated and difficult to understand. This is true. Those who do not put forth effort to become familiar with the spiritual texts will indeed find them difficult. This is true, however, of any area of knowledge. People who do not practice reading have difficulty getting through a page, those who do not cook cannot easily follow a recipe, one who is not familiar with economics does not know the difference between the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Dow Jones Composite Average or what their significance is, and if you do not watch many films you can hardly understand the talk about movie stars. Similarly, if we do not spend time and effort becoming familiar with the heritage of the Church, we will continue to feel like strangers who do not understand Orthodoxy, cannot relate to it, and can barely comprehend the language of divine services. Everything worth pursuing takes time and effort. We have the time. It is our choice what we do with it and toward which things we apply our efforts.

Finally, even this is not enough. If Christ willed for us to be saved through knowledge and understanding, He would have published a book and opened a school. Instead, He founded the Church. Knowing the texts and languages makes a good academician, but it does not protect a man from the river of fire, unless he is inside the Arc of Salvation-the Church. And to be in the Church, we must live the life of the Church-with its fasts and feasts, its services and sacraments-all has been established for our benefit. Every time we disobey the Church, every time we choose not to attend a service, every time we give up the fast to please the demands of our bellies-we continue to cut the very fabric that connects us to the Church. To be God's children, we must become part of God's family.

Our salvation is in the Body of Christ, and being in this Body and in communion with this Body is what truly makes us Orthodox. Orthodoxy is not merely a teaching, a philosophy, or even a worldview; it is the sacrament of salvation. Therefore, it is not enough to know or to have; it is necessary to "be". Orthodoxy is not primarily a body of knowledge, but first and foremost it is life-life in the Church and the life of the Church. And just as human life consists of very small and seemingly insignificant steps that together make up our journey from the cradle to the grave, life in the Church also consists of small steps that lead from death to resurrection. Each one of these steps, no matter how small, is very important, and we must strive on our spiritual path as the merchant, who having found a pearl of great price, gave up everything else to own it (Matt. 13:45-46)..

You cannot find ten minutes in a day to pray to God?-Seek diligently and find five! You cannot find time to read the works of the Fathers?-Start by reading the Gospel and do not forsake it! You cannot be in church for every service?-Begin by making a real effort to come at least for every festal service! You cannot give a lot of money to those in need?-Give what you can, even if it is only two mites (Mk. 12:42), or call your elderly neighbor and ask if you could be of any help. Do something about your spiritual life! The kingdom of heaven is not reached by "couch potatoes," but by those who force themselves out of their comfort ("cf".. Matt. 11:12); Christ is not calling to Himself the lazy who refuse to walk, but those who labor (Matt. 11:28) and who "strive to enter through the narrow gate" (Lk. 13:24). Not every one of us will walk in the footsteps of Saint Seraphim of Sarov and fast as he did, but every one of us knows when it is a Wednesday or a Friday. Not everyone will pray for two hours as did Saint Martyr Polycarp, but everyone knows the simple words that have been repeated by multitudes of saints: "Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner!"

And so it is in the life of the Church, in the life exemplified by our saints, that we find the true meaning of what it is to be Orthodox. And this life is not a biography or a memoir. It is not found in ancient scrolls or on the pages of history books. It must be found in the mirror. You, who were so wondrously fashioned in the divine image of the Creator (Gen. 1:27), take courage to become His likeness, and your faith will make you well ("cf". Matt. 9:22)!

As we celebrate this Sunday of Orthodoxy, let us remember that the triumph of Orthodoxy cannot be marked on the calendar-it is marked in our lives and in our hearts. Let us rejoice today with the whole Church, and let us sing the restoration of holy icons in the temples of God. But this restoration did not end in the ninth century; it is to be completed by us, as we co-labor with God to restore His holy images in the temples of our own souls.

Understanding The Influence Of Doubt On Religion

Understanding The Influence Of Doubt On Religion
Here is an interesting article that looks at the role and influence of uncertainty and doubt on religion in the US. The interesting thing is that it makes an effort to mine data from the recently conducted United States Religious Landscape Study to test competing hypotheses: Is doubt (and uncertainty) of modern age causing the retreat of faith or is it forming a strong modified faith with its roots in doubt:

But the idea that contemporary faith, at least in the economically developed West, is shadowed by uncertainty on a new and different scale begs for some empirical investigation. Is such a doubt-haunted belief merely the intermediate stage in that slow retreat of the "Sea of Faith" that Matthew Arnold lamented in "Dover Beach," and that has left much of Western Europe with little more than a veneer of cultural or nostalgic religiosity? Call this the familiar transition hypothesis.

Or is there a newly emergent faith that is deep and constant, marked by familiar forms of prayer and practice, but nonetheless alert to, perhaps even enlivened by, the whisper saying, "I am convinced I'm right but I could be wrong"? That would be a faith lived, to use a favorite phrase of Professor Taylor, "in a different register." Call this the new steady-state hypothesis.

Here is the set-up for the hypotheses:

At first glance, the latest findings from the United States Religious Landscape Study, conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, promise a way of examining those alternatives. This survey of more than 35,000 Americans asked people not only whether they believed in "God or a universal spirit" (92 percent did), but also whether the believers were "absolutely certain, fairly certain, not too certain, or not at all certain." While 71 percent replied "absolutely certain," a sizable portion (17 percent) fell into the "fairly certain" category.

What if one explored this latter group's answers to other survey questions? How important, for example, was religion in their lives? How often did they pray or attend worship services? How convinced were they that there would be life after death?

From the start, one could suppose that the fairly certain would prove less devout or observant on such measures than the absolutely certain. At least some of the fairly certain, it can be assumed, are people in transit, shifting toward disbelief and already distancing themselves from traditional religious life.

Nonetheless, if it turned out that the answers of the fairly certain came even close to those of the absolutely certain, it would confirm the idea of a stable strata of deeply committed, actively practicing religious believers who have also integrated a significant degree of doubt and uncertainty into their faith.

And it seems that the transition hypothesis comes out stronger from the dats:

In most cases the fairly certain believers were closer in attitude and observance to those saying they were not certain.

For example, 71 percent of absolutely certain believers considered religion "very important" in their lives; only 22 percent of the fairly certain did.

Strike 1 against the new steady-state hypothesis.

But the Pew survey also asked those who believed in God whether their view of God was more like "a person with whom people can have a relationship" or "an impersonal force."

Obviously, religious practices like worship and prayer usually assume a God who has relationships with people. So what if one limited the comparisons between absolutely certain and fairly certain believers to ones who, in both cases, also described their view of God as "personal"?

In this case, the gap between the two groups closes - but only modestly. Strike 2 against the steady-state hypothesis.

Way to go transition hypothesis!.

Magic For When It Is All Too Bloody Much

Magic For When It Is All Too Bloody Much
It is all too bloody much!

That came in an email the other day from someone who had been hit with calamity after calamity... everything from fender-benders to sick kids to pay cuts at work.

It was just too much and this person wanted to know what he could do, magically, about his situation. It's a good question, and he's not the only one asking it.

Magical Solutions When Life is Too Bloody Much

This is an important topic to address because a lot of people are finding life it little to hard to bear right now. Many people are waking each day to minor calamities, from tooth abscesses to broken computers to relationships that are falling apart. It's like life as we know it is falling part. Actually, life as we know it IS falling apart.

As I've mentioned in previous articles, not only are we coming up on a major world change (call it a shift into the Aquarian Age, the ending of a cycle in the Mayan calendar or what have you), but we are also experiencing Pluto return on the astrological level. When there is a Pluto return, we experience the "karma" generated by mankind over the last 250 years or so. Not pretty.

So what do we do magically to alleviate this problem? After all, when life as we know it falls apart, it's not a good thing. Luckily, we can take magical steps towards a happier future.

Three Magical Steps when Life is Falling Apart

I like to keep things simple in magic because life is complicated enough. There's no point in making your magical practice complicated as well, right? So here are three magical steps you can take if your life is, well, falling apart at the seams.

1. Don't panic. (duh!)

2. Choose one very, very simple magic ritual you like.

3. Become a slave to the magic ritual.

So let me explain. These three steps really work, and I've deliberately made them sort of inflammatory to make a point. So bear with me. Let's take it one step at a time.

1. Don't Panic

The "Well, duh!" factor is pretty high on this step, but is has to be said. After all, what's the first thing we are programmed to do when a calamity occurs in our lives? PANIC! Yup, sheer unadulterated panic. So learning how NOT to panic is pretty important. By Law of Attraction, panic attracts more things to panic about. So learn to back off the panic a hair or two. Go with, say, annoyance or light cursing to start with. You probably can't go from panic to happy, but you can take a step back from panic and satisfy yourself with a few curse words. So practice, practice, practice not panicking. This is important. Consider it a crucial part of your magical training. You have to master this step, at least somewhat, before moving on to the next step.

2. Choose One Very, Very Simple Magical Ritual You Like

This step is pretty logical. Magical rituals are useful because they create magical effects in your life. The more your life if falling apart, the more magic you need in your life. So you'll need a magic ritual you can use when something calamitous happens in your life. So pick a magic ritual, any ritual, that you like and that is simple. Remember, when you are focused on not panicking, you won't have a lot of brainpower left to do a complicated magic ritual.

Some magic rituals I like include the Navajo Beauty Way Exit Ritual, the Sun Candle, and hiring angels. You can read about all of those here:

Navajo Beauty Way

Sun Candle

Hiring Angels

Or make up your own ritual. You can also get a bunch of simple magic rituals in our Daily Rituals ebook, which contains tons of rituals and teaches you how to create your own. In any case, pick a ritual, learn it well, and keep it handy.

Daily Rituals Ebook

3. Become a Slave to the Magic Ritual

This sounds kind of extreme, but it's actually a very common principle in many esoteric and tribal practices. The gist of it is this: there can only be one "most important" thing in your life, and that thing will either be intentional magic or it will an accidental life event. In many magical traditions, students are instructed to choose an aim (or ritual) and to make that aim their god in life. Why? Because the aim or ritual is intentional, which means it creates a very precise and pre-determined effect. A wanted effect.

This effect acts as an antidote against all the "accidents" that otherwise occur in life: the fender-benders, the sick kids, the reduced paycheck, and other calamities. So being a slave to your chosen magical ritual simply means putting more attention on that ritual than on the current calamity.

Here's how it would work. Suppose you choose the magic ritual of hiring an angel. Now suppose you get into a fender bender. Step 1: don't panic--just mutter a couple curse words under your breath. Step 2: Whip out your magic ritual. Step 3: If possible, hire an angel to fix this mess (before you even get out of the car to deal with the other driver).

Pretty simple, right? By putting your magic ritual ahead acts on the physical plane, you attract more magic and intention, and fewer accidents. I'm assuming, of course, that the fender bender is minor and you have 15 seconds to hire an angel before hopping out of the car. If not, use common sense and take care of business first and hire an angel later. Just remember to put your emphasis on the idea that magic is more important than panicking about the life situation.

This simple three-step magical process works really well in our current turbulent times, and will work even better as we move into the world transition to come. Practice these steps now and you'll be in fine shape for any world transition coming down the pike. Really. Magic works, it really does.

Bos Herbalenchantment Grimoire How To Create A Moon Tree
// How to Create A Moon Tree // A special gift for the Dark Goddess of the Moon. Done on a Full Moon night.

The highest initiation of Luna is one of Wisdom, allowing the psyche to influence action and to follow an inner voice. The Great Wise Mother holds the secret of feminine spirituality. By making a 'Moo Tree' you can increase communication with the Moon Herself. In addition, it can also be a beautiful Being to adorn your home, bringing the sense of Luna in doors.

INSTRUCTIONS:

01) Willow or aspen branches.

02) Silver spray paint.

03) A container to put branches in.

04) River stones or Clear Quartz crystals or Moonstones (this is the best if you are able to account for and afford so many Moonstones).

05) Clear glass fairy lights.

06) Silver totems: crescent Moons. 07) Thin blue ribbons, seashells, and white papery flowers.

08) Two white or silver candles.

METHOD: 01) Spray the branches and arranged them in the pot supported by the river stones (or crystals). 02) Simply decorate as you like and don't worry if you haven't got all the above; just use your imagination and decorate the tree in your own style.

03) Empower the Tree and bless it by offering it to the full Moon. The following chant can be said under the silver ligh tof the Moon:

BY THE POWER OF HEKATE, KERRIDWEN, AND THE MORRIGAN,I DRAW DOWN THE POWER OF THE FULL MOON INTO THIS MOON TREE. BY THE POWER OF THE DARK GODDESS OF THE MOON,THIS TREE IS SACRED AND BLESSED WITH LUNAR ENERGY. THE POWER OF THE MOON LADY NOW DWELLS WITHIN MY HOME. THIS IS MY WILL, SO MOTE IT BE.

Now place the Moon Tree on an altar or other sacred place where It can be revered and worshiped. I plan to place mine with my Moonstones on my altar so as to always have them charge one another with Lunar Energy.

May the Goddess of the Moon and Her Lunar Spirits be with you.

Blessed be. )O(

Embraced by Her dark wings,Dani

Psychic Divination Tools

Psychic Divination Tools
There are many different aids or tools a psychic or clairvoyant may use. Anyone may use these tools to aid in his or her own divination for that matter! Examples include Tarot Cards, Runes, Crystal balls, scrying mirrors or other scrying objects, and pendulums.

Tarot cards are a commonly used aid. Each Tarot card has a divinatory meaning associated with it. In a Tarot reading, sometimes if the card is upside down, it weakens the meaning or even reverses it. It depends on the individual psychic giving the reading on how the card is interpreted. Usually, the Psychic has the person being read handle or shuffle the cards in some manner or does it for them. The cards are then placed into a particular spread and interpreted. There are numerous types of spreads and once again it depends on the individual psychic and his or her preference. Tarot cards have different pictures on them and there are many different kinds of artistic designs and decks one can choose from.

Runes were used by the ancient Nordic people as a magical language. Their uses ranged from writing messages and making charms or talismans to predicting the future and magical work. In Anglo-Saxon English and Old Norse, the word Rune meant secret, mystery and magical signs. Each rune contains its own meaning and has energies associated with it.

Crystal balls, mirrors and shiny stones are other "scrying" objects. The user will gaze upon the clear surface until a vision appears which can be understood directly or interpreted. Any reflective stone or object can really be used for this purpose. The concept is to still the mind and see what then comes to mind - So to speak.

Pendulums are another tool some may use.The pendulum is a tool that bridges the gap between the logical left brain and the intuitive right brain. By interpreting the movements of a swinging pendulum, you can tune into your intuition, find the answer to any question, and locate objects and energy centers in the earth.

Although most of their courtship she is timid, and unsure of how to handle her romantic emotions, when her relationship to Alexi is threatened, she stands up for herself and fights for him. The romance is sweet, and endearing and builds ever so slowly. "(See the full and funny review, giving it a rating of 9... which means it will make a Smexy top 20 this year and that "thrills" me.) Thanks Mandi!
FANTASY DREAMER gives Percy love:From Donna:"It's has been awhile since I've read a gothic fantasy and I don't remember being this entertained reading a book in this genre as much as I was reading "Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker". I enjoyed how Ms. Hieber's prose could make me feel the anticipation of that first touch and the thrill of that first kiss. I was transported to a Victorian London, during the terrible reign of Jack the Ripper. I could hear the clip-clop of the horse hooves echoing down the street, see the ghosts along the streets and feel the eeriness that always seem to accompany the evenings in London. Since I've read this book, I've even caught myself thinking in Victorian speak, it had that much of an impact on me.It was truly a pleasure reading Ms. Hieber's tender love story with her version of Greek mythology mixed with the paranormal. The plot was well rounded and the ending gives you a nice closure but I have a few questions lingering that I hope will be answered in the next book. Your not going to find anything too terribly dark or forbidding in this book, though the evil ones were evil enough to fulfill their part in the setting of this book. It was a wonderful journey reading this book and I'm looking forward to next book in this series. Yes, I would definitely recommend this book."(Read the full post on Donna's gorgeous Fantasy Dreamer's Ramblings blog)Congratulations to both of these lovely ladies for their Book Blogger Appreciation Week nominations! Now! The Sunflower
The Sunflower is a symbol for spiritual attention, flexibility and attention. They are also a symbol of good luck, wealth, ambition and faith. The sunflower have become a symbol of the sun becuase it always face the sun.

There is a Greek Mythology about a water-nymph that fell inlove with the God of sun - Apollo. She was so in love with him that she sat on the ground looking at the sun all day. Apollo never noticed her and the other gods turned her into a sunflower that forever follows the path of the sun in the sky to never loose site of her love.

The Sunflower hat in This Is It:

Looking closer at the picture above, why would they put the light on the sunflower hat? Anther picture:

It is still the sunflower hat that the light is on. Im my opinion this must have a deeper meaning. They want to show this for a reason.

Ok it is told that in the note above is Lisa Marie Presley that wrote the Thank You. I found Lisa Marie's autograph and it makes me wonder if that is really she that wrote that note....

FREEWILL CHOICE

By Sanandachanneled through Rev. Deb of Project: Eagle Triad

You must all realize that, as much as I love each and every one of you, I could never, ever, willingly deny you the opportunity to be able to forge your way through to learn these lessons and have a lesson well-learned behind you instead of in front of you. For you see, if someone else gifted you with the learning of the lesson, or if someone else gifted you with the short cut for you to find your way through these lessons, you would forever and always thereafter wonder, "But could I really have done it on my own?" Or, "Since I really and truly did not do it on my own, when is it coming back? When do I have to face it again and how long, this time, will it take me to identify which lesson it is, and then start all over again?"

I can give you hints, I can give you parables, I can give you suggestions, as long as they never, ever interfere with your freewill choice, because humans have proved themselves to be worthy of freewill choice. And it is the gift of the Creator to humans that walk upon this planet to be gifted with that gift. And what would it be like if I were to come to your home and steal away from you a gift that the Creator had gifted to you? At the onset, you might like it, but then you would no longer have it because your egos and your minds would refuse to use it in hopes that you wouldn't have to make those choices anymore. And then you would jump into judgment of yourselves, of me, and of all others, due to the fact that you were no longer allowing yourself to make your choices.

And then last, but certainly not least, what in the world would I do with your freewill choice? It has nothing at all to do with me! I have such a burden to carry now anyway, the last thing in the world that I would wish to do is add more to MY shoulders... even though I do have a ship to help me cart it around in... or two, or three.

Now... when you were last involved, or are presently involved, in what you deemed to be what is keeping YOU from harmony, balance, prosperity, or unconditional love, my advice, my hint, is sit down with yourself and have a long chat with your 'self'. Find out just what the most prime opportunity would be to choose to do with your freewill choice in order to get you out of this situation. Would you ask your friend to assist you? Would you ask my brother Ashtar to assist you? Would you ask me to assist you? Well, all of those that I have just named, including myself... and, oh my, my ego hates to hear this... we're all nothing more than fellow pawns in your game.

My suggestion is... take it to the Boss, the Boss of all bosses, the One that has gifted you with something that is begging you, pleading for you, to make that gift the biggest cord that you have in your life that connects you directly to Him/Her... however you look at 'God' to be. Now, you can use that freewill choice to make all the choices in the world you wish to make. Sometime, in all of Creation, maybe you'll make the right choice with it that will cover all the other choices.

ABOUT PROJECT: EAGLE TRIAD

This Project, which is compliant with all Spiritual Paths, consists of doing three 5-minute meditations/visualizations each day, which are given to us from Ashtar, Sananda or others of the higher realms who are assisting us in this endeavor. These are not full-blown 'alpha' meditations, and are designed for even those who are new to meditation in general. These meditations may also be done at one 15-minute sitting if that is more convenient for you. At present, Sananda and Ashtar have everyone working on the same meditation each week, with each meditation being done for 7 days, after which time we are given a new one. As of now, we start each new set of visualizations on Mondays.

All those participating in this Project are grouped into 'trinities' (three people working together), however, the members of each trinity do NOT need to do the meditations at the same time as the others. Through their 'intent', their energies will all be sent 'together' to the appropriate grid. It is asked, however, that the members of each trinity stay in touch with each other via email or other means in order to facilitate the higher energetics of Group Mind/Group Heart.

Contemporary Witchcraft Wiccan Names And Meanings
The same as I was place over what indigence be the number of my adjoining post, I met up with a friend and got to discourse about the standing of wiccan names and meanings. We both firm that choosing a wiccan name was clear in your mind not a clearance to be full of activity playfully, but had rationally unreliable opinions of several of the other factors practicing. It was an interesting switch and afterwards I conception about the fact that portray weight be circle reading the blog who were taking into account Wicca or witchcraft as a way of life and so it weight be accomplished to luxury the implications of choosing a name.

Evidently, my reasons for bringing this number in so primordial are two crinkle. Original, to get you place about the standing of your setting up, anything your widespread level weight be. But also so that you possibly will start to see what personality and traits are tall and what you indigence be expecting. I figured that now was as good a time as any!

Everywhere TO Be apparent Being Questioning FOR A WITCH/WICCANNAME?

Wiccan names and meanings are very immense ranging, but also very personal. Every single one witch hand down proclaim you a interchange story of how she came by her (OR HIS) name. For some, it is principally private, and is cold secret with themselves and the Gods and Goddesses. Others, reveal it to their coven, phase others not moving are unconcerned to make the name publicly common (EVEN THOUGH THIS IS FROWNED UPON BY SEVERAL COVENS AND PRACTISING WICCANS).

In choosing your name, I'm of the remain standing that as well as mobile something that you endeavor to be, it indigence also epitomise your strongest self traits, seeing as it is something that hand down potentially respect with you for a very have a yen time.

So, you indigence be starting to map about some of the personality that you have a meal as a human being now, as well as fill with you would also affection to move forward as you further as a witch. Grab a flare to really map about it. Countless circle fall appearing in the catch of unpleasant to become someone interchange at the same time as they place up witchcraft and inadequately poll a name that is the awkward of them, revealing the fact that they are consecutive improbable from something. This is a quarrel. You hand down snake up having to aim your name once more and once more and this hand down alter with your string and your up-and-coming abilities. The same as in the role of open minded and undemanding is essential, in the role of vanished hand down get you nowhere.

To supply you a few pointers I conception it would be accomplished to proclaim at some of the concluded public wiccan names and meanings as well as involve seats for you to proclaim for encouragement. As you give somebody a ride to make your wiccan name as personalised as realizable, I wouldn't compactly direct a wiccan name generator for making any final decisions. Even they can be a lot of fun! And it may supply you a crooked ambiance of the sorts of names and combinations that are out portray.

Some wiccan names have a meal become very fashionable of late-night being, with names such as Amber, Morgan, Phoenix and (POSSIBLY INESCAPABLY) Merlin so you may wish to hound out what the most likewise cast-off names are to supply you encouragement. A word of mark at the same time as going for fashionable names - try to stop the names of Gods or Goddesses. It is ok to pull-out some kind of duty to them appearing in your name, but to convey their name fastidiously hand down come straddling as if you tribute yourself on a par with them and their future say. And it weight not win you any friends!

You may be curious to know that outcome name books or sites are as good a origin as any, as they supply affable definitions and name meanings. Consequently, you can then hound out names that mean strong, stanch or kind etc.

To end with, proclaim to the earth and its gifts and weigh up names such as Oak, Pelt down or Rose to give a human face to both the power you revenue from manner, and also to honour it.

HOW DO YOU Chance on Being YOU Blow your own horn Edge THE Apt WICCAN NAME?

Existing is no simple unconditional to this responsibility sadly. It is a grill of waiting until the sincere Wiccan name and meaning finds you - you hand down non-discriminatory know it's the sincere one. It can be beneficial to try present unassumingly and charter your thoughts run over the name in your rationale to see whether it feels unmodified. Try a simple ritual, such as prose it in runes or a cleansing, smudging ritual.

If you are non-discriminatory starting to place an prying in Wicca and/or Witchcraft, of course portray is no rush in belief a name. But it can be very accomplished in quota you with your do personal, and aid you in bringing out your strengths. Delightful luck!
