As for delaying it until at what time the day of Eid, Ibn Raslaan said: That is haraam according to serious social equality, since it is zakaah, so contemporary should be sin convoluted in delaying it, as is the wallet with delaying prayer until the time for it is best quality. End quote.

The Standing Legislature for Issuing Fatwas was asked: Is the time for paying zakaat al-fitr from at what time the Eid prayer until the end of that day?

It is allowable to pay it one or two days prior that since of the narrate of Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: The Omen of Allaah (edict and blessings of Allaah be upon him) enjoined zakaat al-fitr at the end of Ramadaan... at the end of which he said: And they second hand to leap it one or two days prior that. Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (may Allaah supply pity on him) was asked: I did not pay zakaat al-fitr since Eid came gruffly, and at what time Eid al-Fitr I standoffish asking about what I essential do with regard to this contented. Is it waived for me or do I supply to pay it? When is the discourse behind it?
He replied: Zakaat al-fitr is de rigueur. Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Omen of Allaah (edict and blessings of Allaah be upon him) enjoined zakaat al-fitr. It is de rigueur upon every Muslim, male and female, unripe and old, free and slave. If it so happens that Eid comes gruffly, prior you can pay it, moreover you essential pay it on the day of Eid, even if that is at what time the prayer, since if one misses the time of an de rigueur act of reverence for a discourse, it should be made up the same as the discourse ceases to service, since the Predictor (edict and blessings of Allaah be upon him) alleged a propos prayer; "Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps and misses it, let him pray it the same as he remembers it, for contemporary is no recompense for it other than that." And he recited the verse (interpretation of the meaning): "and perform As-Salaah (Iqaamat-as-Salaah) for My celebration" [Ta-ha 20:14]. End quote from Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen (18/271).
He also said: But if he delays it for a discourse, such as forgetting or since contemporary were no mid association to be found on the night prior Eid, moreover it will be accepted from him, whether he puts it back with his own wealth or plants it until he finds a mid bash comes.
