Tomorrow We Hunt

I'm completely psyched about tomorrow. I miss writing and sharing Luna, Leo and the fantastically dark world of Pre-Chaos.
The first installment of The Haunting is going to be long. Probably over 3,000 words... I figured that you haven't enjoyed the company of ciguapas, witches, flesheaters, nightmares, harpies-yes, nightmares and harpies-for a while, so I should serve you a deliciously large chunk. It's just fair, isn't it?
Also, If you've been waiting for The Haunting, you already noticed that the tale is getting here a couple of days early-May 29th instead of Jun 1st. I want to publish an episode each Tuesday, until the story ends. I didn't think some of you would appreciate waiting until Jun 5th, the first Tuesday of next month.
The story will start a few hours before the beginning you already read. Some of the bits you read, The Haunting Parts 1-7, have changed to fill holes and help the worldbuilding.
I hope you are having a great holiday weekend; those of you who got the day off. I won't ask you to REMEMBER, for I've learned that there are some things between life and bloody death, which the mind can never forget-even if it tries over... and over... and over... and again. Semper Fidelis, my Wicked Luvs.
In Pre-Chaos, New York, the appearance of the Mythica Stones turned myth into reality. Maras feed on nightmares, Ciguapas enthrall with a look, and Witches heal with their blood.
Three years after resigning from the US Mythical Intelligence Unit, Luna Bravo, former military healer and now freelance reporter, uses her magic to gather and share information that keeps her community safe and helps her pay the bills.
When the streets of Pre-Chaos are tainted by flesheaters, and the brother of her lifelong crush seems to be in trouble, Luna decides to fight infection at the roots by shooting it repeatedly until it stops twitching. She is determined to slaughter any monster that crosses her path, but her tenacity might falter when she realizes that in order to eliminate the new threat she must kill an old friend.
Tomorrow, we'll hunt...
P.S. I've moved the deadlines for the AlmaMia giveaways to May 29th (a lot of name gathering to do). The winners will be announced Jun 2nd. Have you entered yet? If not, join AlmaMia Cienfuegos Tours with Charm and try your luck ;-)
