Hera Fidelity Spell

Hera is the Greek godddess of marriage, of women, and of children. She is called upon in this spell to assist in bringing motivation for fidelity. This spell is of the neo-pagan style of magic.

The Materials:

Lapis lazuli. Ideally, it should be cut, polished and set into to rings.

The particular book this is from, Sacred Stones of the Goddess by Galen Gillotte. The original text includes a lot more commentary as well as a suggestion for using the rings with both partners together in a sort of fidelity ceremony, under Hera's blessing, and using deep blue candles couples with pink or red, and burning sweet pea, lilac, rose or myrrh incense. It also goes on to provide this chant, which it calls the "spell" :

Blue-eyed Hera

exquisite queen,

dignity and strength

in Your every step,

we call upon You,

and ask Your blessing

upon our union.

Bless us with the

determination to be

ever faithful --

body, mind, heart and spirit;

that we may live our love

with dignity and respect.
