THE SACRED WELL, 536 Grand Avenue, Oakland California

From their website:

"We make magic happen every day with our metaphysical supplies! "

"The Sacred Well is your source for readings, ritual supplies, remedies, crystals, and other tools for the sacred and healing arts. We strive to make your online shopping experience as welcoming and magical as a visit to our Oakland, CA store."

"Nestled against Oakland's Lake Merritt, The Sacred Well is one of the Bay Area's premier metaphysical shops. Since 2007, we have shared our special brand of heart-centered magic with the greater East Bay community. We offer a wide variety of crystals and stones, jewelry, candles, herbs, incense, books and artisanal crafts for sale, and our warm space also serves as a meeting-place for classes and events, spiritual services, and intuitive readings. Come visit us, and soak in the vibe!"

"Looking for powerful magic spells, healing crystals, pagan / wiccan supplies? The Sacred Well uses the highest quality ingredients in creating our metaphysical and magical supplies. Our magical oils, spell candles, herb and gem elixirs, and healing crystals will help you make magic happen every day."

The shop looks very pretty, well-kept, and magical, and the website is nicely organized and edited. I'd love to visit it one day, though I'm not sure I'll ever be in California.

There is a discussion of an event held at the shop (that has more pictures of the shop interior) here, from Pilgrimage with Evan Sandman's tumblr. I like that the folks at The Sacred Well use the shop as a place of worship as well. You'd think it'd be more common for these types of shops than it is.

Lots of Yelp reviews, all very positive. Most people talk about how good Rabbit's readings are.

You can also sign up for their mailing list on their website.

The eighth picture is from their twitter, and this is the caption that goes with it:

"We created a crystal mandala to transform anger/frustration/violence into compassion and understanding."
